How Long Does It Take To Build Muscle?

Building muscle is not an instant effect, it takes time, energy and hard work. You can expect to receive initial gains after about a month of eating right and lifting heavy weights!

Make sure you follow our four pillars of bodybuilding and you will start to see exceptional results. Many bodybuilding supplements are useless so be sure to only use a supplement proven to work!

Timescale Of Building Muscle

For a more specific timescale for our readers to gain some enthusiasm to get to the gym, eat right and lift heavy:

  1. 1-month will see initial results
  2. 3-months will start to get the definition
  3. 5-6 months much noticeable muscle gains

Do not let this get you down, building muscle takes time. You must also let your body rest and grow between workouts. We workout every other day but we have been lifting for many years.

Another point to make is if you do not use it you will lose it. So be careful when you stay away from lifting for a month or two!
